Live Coverage: Virgin Orbit's historic launch from Cornwall

The Virgin Orbit will stage its first-ever orbital launch from the Cornwall Spaceport in southwest England on Monday, January 9.

The 'Start Me Up' Mission will be completed with the Launcher One rocket, which was manufactured in Long Beach, California, and transported to the UK.

The rocket will be air-launched from a Boeing 747-400 aircraft called 'Cosmic Girl', in what is known as a horizontal launch. The Launcher One will bring satellites from seven customers into the Earth’s orbit.
