Tops, the Traditional Taiwanese Toy

When we were married back in 2007, my parents came to Taiwan for the wedding. During their visit, we went to the local folklore park and museum. While we were there, we went to a shop owner that I seen on school field trips during the previous five years. The shop own taught my dad, who doesn't speak Chinese, how to throw a top in Chinese. She followed that up with expertly throwing several tops onto a small platform.
