Toronto MLS Homes Sold Report | December 2022

•Toronto's housing market ended 2022 with a significant decrease in sales and average selling prices, down 8.9% and 9.2%, respectively, from the previous year.
• The average price of homes sold over the course of 2022 was $1,189,850 - 8.6% higher than 2021 - due to strength early in the year before inflation peaked and interest rates rose again.
• Prices then began slipping back towards one million dollars as 2021 came to an end
