Your Average Waterbury, CT Police Officer - James Hinkle - Fired after Losing It and Berating Driver

WATERBURY — The city police department has fired an officer whose body camera captured him yelling at a woman he claimed nearly hit him with her car while he was directing traffic last month.

Waterbury Police Officer James Hinkle was fired Monday following an internal investigation into the Dec. 13 incident. Hinkle, a patrol officer who had been with the department for seven years, was on administrative leave during the investigation.
