The United States Ice Hockey team lead by coach Herb Brooks, took a raw team of college kids up against the widely accepted "unbeatable" Soviet Union Ice Hockey Team at Lake Placid in the 1980 Olympics during the height of the Cold War.

Coach Brooks took his band of college kids (many of which were college rivals) brought the best out of them, and turned 20 of them that ultimately would do the impossible - and in the process, inspire the entire country.
