Was the NAACP was Paid by Coca-Cola to Lie About Racism? | Random Things You Need to Know

In 2011, #CocaCola paid the #NAACP and the #HispanicFederation to lie to Black and Latino Americans by calling the proposed #SugarTax racist. Coca-Cola is a huge donor to both organizations and despite the fact that obesity and diabetes are highly prevalent in Black and Hispanic communities both groups, that claim to represent and are fighting for the betterment of those races, promoted the idea that consuming more sugary products was good for those people. We ask if these organizations can be paid to say something is racist despite the factual evidence that it is not, what else will they say is racist if paid to do so? More importantly what other past initiatives have these groups promoted to Americans in the name of equality that has been harmful to Blacks and Latinos and possibly all of America for years?
