Even to this day, Mozart’s works have appeared in numerous movies.

Rex Tremendae from Mozart's Requiem appeared in ‘Eyes Wide Shut’ with Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman. Mozart’s String Quintet E Flat Major makes an appearance in ‘Harry Meet Sally’, and ‘Eine Kleine Nachtmusik’ creates an eerie atmosphere in ‘Alien’.

Mozart’s Clarinet Concerto in A Major features in the Robert Redford movie ‘Out of Africa’, with Mozart’s emotional ‘Ach, ich fühl's’ from the second act of the opera 'Die Zauberflöte' (The Magic Flute) provides a contrast of pain and desperation in the action thriller ‘Face-off’, among many other movies that utilize his vast range of pieces to conjure up an atmosphere fitting for the theatre.
