On January 10, 2023, protesters from numerous organizations demonstrated in the New York State capitol in Albany as the legislative session began and Governor Kathy Hochul delivered her state of the state address.

This protester from Vocal New York talked with me about the group's advocacy for reforms to the state's Criminal Procedure Law 440 to provide legal representation to fight wrongful convictions.
