Is Prince Harry Backpedaling on Racist Claims?

In a widely watched interview with Oprah Winfrey, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle brought up concerns from the royal family about the possible skin color of their baby. Many lambasted the Royal Family as racist.
Now, in an ITV Interview with Tom Bradby, Harry is claiming that they never said the Royal Family were racist. Does his claim hold water?
