Huge progress! We're not 100% yet, but I'll take it!

We were super worried about the storm, and potential flooding in the basement after we discovered that broken/failed block!

In this #howto Mike used Leak Stopper, a hydraulic cement product from Sakrete to infill the missing block, and in this video- we show you that it worked! We used to gain between two and three inches of water in the basement in heavy rain scenarios, but the basement is DRY!

Note: The water on the floor is residual (left over) from the application process! ALWAYS protect yourself from the particulates in the compound by wearing an organic vapor mask and the proper PPE when mixing the product! Indoors, be sure to wear eye protection, and that no one else is around!

Pro Tip: Water on the floor prevents the particulates from becoming airborne if they don't make it to your mixing tray! Take every precaution! You only get one pair of lungs!

Be quick! Only mix what you can apply in 1 minute! It sets quickly, and can even be applied while water is flowing!
