Note: The lead pipe will be terminated at the source as we continue along the trench, and we have a pretty cool idea for utilizing that spring water to have an off-grid watering solution for our livestock! Always terminate the pipe from both sides, AFTER making sure the valve is bled down, closed, and safe to cut! The penetration into my basement will be terminated from the inside, and the remaining pipe will be cut out as we dig deeper in the trench! Do it right, or don't do it!
