Rangers fc Scott Wright Rumours wants OUT #shorts
Wright, 25, joined the Gers from Aberdeen in February 2021 but has mainly been a fringe player at Ibrox and has only started five Scottish Premiership matches this season.

The former Scotland Under-21 international has been criticised by some sections of the fanbase for not being at a good enough for the Light Blues.
And McManus believes that while Wright doesn’t have much hope of being a mainstay in Govan, he’d be a stellar signing for a club like Aberdeen, Hearts or Hibernian.

Speaking to Ibrox News, McManus said: “It’s hard. Giovanni van Bronckhorst trusted him to play in the Europa League final and I think he’s got something about him.

“But do I see him playing every week at Rangers? No.

“He’s handy to have around in the squad but it’s all about Michael Beale and who he sees can improve his squad.

“Wright’s a good player, I think he would play every week at Hibs or Hearts or Aberdeen. But I don’t think he’d do that at Rangers.

“It’s up to him really but if he wants to play every week and push his career forward, he’ll leave Rangers.

“If he’s happy to be a squad player and come in for cup games and the odd league game, he’ll stay. He’s a decent player but long-term, I don’t see him being a regular at Ibrox.”
Wright has played 72 times in all competitions in his time at Rangers, scoring eight goals and supplying six assists in the process.

He’s been named in the starting line-up just 28 times in almost three years at Ibrox.
