Dinosaurs running loose today as the Mayor mixes Jeff Lynne's ELO with Rod Stewart for the Segue City Special. Like Lake Woebegone, it's been a quiet week around here so we're gearing up for next week's segues to see if we can shake things up...

Segue City is a recurring short-form programming element. At some point it will be a part of "The Big Kahuna." That’s an Internet Radio format that’s a part of Global Entertainment Technology that was created by Dain L. Schult.

It revives the art of mixing two songs together in a seamless pattern where it is tough to tell where the first song ended and the second one began. Sometimes the segues may also revolve around thematic ideas like matching or similar song titles.

Other times there are hidden meanings and Easter Eggs in the mix as well. We'll try anything because no two Segue City Specials will ever be exactly the same...
