Taken in moderation, alcohol is very comforting and festive as seen at dinner tables, weddings and celebrations. But taken in excess, alcohol can lead to very destructive behavior like drunken driving accidents, liver failure and violence. "Wine gives false courage; hard liquor leads to brawls; what fools men are to let it master them, making them reel drunkenly down the street" Proverbs 20:1 LB.
