"Wouldn't I Be Someone" (Bee Gees) reaction

I hadn't heard this song before and, man, was I missing out! Wonderful ballad about what we all go through: Who are we and wouldn't we be someone, IF? But, as usual, it's the sound of the Bee Gees that grabs your heartstrings, with Barry's silky baritone, Robin's heart-breaking sincerity, and Mo joining in the harmonies. But also, Alan Kendall's slide-steel guitar riff simply kills it, adding texture and even more emotionality to this wonderful ditty.
