WUT?!? WE GOT A GIFT FROM YOUTUBE ITSELF?!?!

How lucky can you be to be able to actually receive a gift from YouTube itself? It is something that I never take for granted and find totally cool. We got yet another gift from YouTube, and this is something that I really do appreciate them doing. What was it? Well, a way to be more comfortable and relaxed!

I am blessed to be a member of the YouTube shorts community that YouTube and Alphabet run themselves. It's a group of content creators who are dedicated to making short-form content on the platform. I've learned quite a bit thanks to being on there and I really do appreciate everything that I have been able to learn from them.

In the past I have received cereal, which they called Shorties (Check that out here - https://youtu.be/79b1raM17PY), I've received an LED light (which unfortunately did not work), and most recently I have received a YouTube Shorts pillow! It's completely kitschy and silly, but I think it's totally fun and worthwhile. It is something I can utilize in my gaming chair to relax a little bit while I'm creating content, either filming, playing, or editing.

There are definitely times as a creator you wonder if YouTube or whatever platform you're on cares about what you're doing. Through little things like this, I have to admit that it has given me a different perspective. I definitely get frustrated with you too occasionally, I think all creators do. Sometimes we hold them to account when they need to be, other times we can be a little bit rash. But the fact that they're willing to do stuff like this for the community just drives home the fact that there are people who there are dedicated to ensuring those who are on the platform understand that they are appreciated for what they do and what they provide.
