As is tradition, I always play through the storyline campaign mode of Starcraft, usually around December.
This year I'm a little bit late, so we're starting in January.

PREVIOUSLY: The war between the Zerg and the Protoss came to a grizzly end as Tassadar led his ship Carrier on a direct collusion course with the Overmind. Destroying both himself and the Overmind, he has broken up the assault on Aiur, however, the innumberable swarms still inhabit the surface of the planet. The few Zerg cerebrates that remain no longer have a leader, the Protoss no longer have a hero, and the human Terrans no longer have a home.

TONIGHT: We'll be playing through the Protoss Brood War Campaign. With all but their lives lost, the protoss now begin to struggle to rebuild their society, rescue their comrades, and pave a path to ensure the survival of their race against the frenzied remnants of the zerg forces.
