Desolate Nevada-Episode Two: Devils Throat, Spanish Arrastra & The Falling Man

Episode Two of Desolate Nevada takes us out into the Gold Butte National Monument, this place is awesome!
We first ride out and have a look at the mysterious sinkhole known as the Devils Throat. Out in the middle of the desert, this giant sinkhole occurred...very interesting...
Next we head out to the old Gold Butte Townsite to look for the Arrastra. An Arrastra is basically a mill to process ore. The cool thing about this particular Arrastra is that some believe the Spanish made it in the 18th century. Who knows, maybe someone??
For the wrap, we backtrack out and have a look at the Falling Man petroglyph as well as other panels of ancient rock art carved into the rocks in the area. Beautiful sights, rich history, rugged land. Gold Butte offers much to see and do!
