Gabor Mate, also talks about some of his experiences working with some people, and when Gabor told them some of his mind patterns or some of his traumas, the people he was working with started to feel like Gabor was the same as them. Making us realize that we are all the same, we are all worth the same as human beings, and being or having compassion, in a way, is looking ourselves in the others, looking to them as a mirror of us.
