Petrified Forest

The Petrified Forest is right off Route 40. We spent the night close by and drove from the North entrance South back to Route 40. We had no idea how great the ride through this National Park was going to be. There is so much to see, petrified wood obviously but also the painted desert, native American culture, old Route 66, amazing vistas and more. It took us a good 8 hours to get through and we still missed some of the things to see because we were short on time in the end. If you're close you have to stop by!
