Andrew James Bridgen is a British politician and businessman who has served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for North West Leicestershire since 2010. A member of the Conservative Party and prominent figure on its right wing, he is a long-term critic of the European Union (EU) and supported Brexit in the 2016 membership referendum. Bridgen was a vocal supporter of the Eurosceptic pressure group Leave Means Leave,[ as well as a prominent critic of Theresa May during her time as Leader of the Conservative Party and Prime Minister.
