Universal Gravitational Theory - Science and Tech Tuesday

The theory of universal gravitation is a scientific theory that explains the force of gravity as a fundamental force of nature. It was first proposed by Sir Isaac Newton in his book "Philosophiæ Naturalis Principia Mathematica" in 1687. The theory states that every point mass in the universe attracts every other point mass with a force that is proportional to the product of their masses and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between them. This theory was later modified by Albert Einstein's theory of general relativity.
