The Left is Turning on Biden

I never thought we’d see this day, but a former Obama official just accused President Joe Biden of “inexcusable neglect” for his handling, or rather complete mishandling, of highly classified documents.
Walter Shaub, an Obama-era ethics chief, just said President Biden's mishandling of classified documents is nothing like the Trump situation, elaborating that Biden's 'retention of classified records reflects an inexcusable neglect of the most basic security protocols.'
As reported by Fox News:
"Obama administration ethics chief Walter Shaub said that President Biden’s retention of classified documents at his think tank and Delaware garage is 'an inexcusable neglect' of basic security protocols.
Shaub weighed in on the growing scandal that saw Biden’s White House attorneys turning over classified documents found at the President’s Penn Biden Center think tank and by his Corvette in his Wilmington, Delaware garage.
'It’s nothing like Trump’s deliberate refusal to return classified records demanded by the National Archives, but Biden’s own retention of classified records reflects an inexcusable neglect of the most basic security protocols,' the Obama administration ethics chief told Fox News Digital."
Mr. Shaub went on to imply that even though there has clearly been an effort by the White House to at very least obscure the truth about the documents, and how and when they were found, he doesn’t seem to think Biden will face criminal charges:
"'The fact that the White House didn’t mention that records were found in more than one location when first asked about them was a breach of trust with the public and a self-inflicted wound,' Shaub said.
'Based on what we know so far, it seems unlikely that he’s at risk of any legal consequences, but I’m glad Garland appointed a special counsel to show even-handed treatment of the current and former President,' he added."
Shaub was in charge of overseeing the Obama Administration to ensure they were acting in an ethical manner, and that includes then-Vice President Joe Biden. He worked with Biden. For him to say that Biden committed a breach of trust is a big deal. Could we be seeing the beginning of the end of the Biden Administration altogether? Are the Democrats turning on their own man? The mainstream media has made a noticeable turn in its handling of Biden in light of these documents. Is this the new plan? Force him out, or at least stop him from announcing a run for re-election? This is just conjecture, for now, but the pieces sure seem to be coming together.
President Biden can no longer claim to be “surprised” about any of this. These classified files were clearly taken knowingly, and likely with intention. We just don’t know why, at least not yet, but it’s clear he not only took them, but moved them around. Some were found in an office he had used at the Penn Biden Center. Others have been found in his personal residence. Why was President Biden keeping them, let alone moving them around to various places? And what’s more concerning is was he utilizing them, and for what? That’s one of many questions we just filed an expedited FOIA demand to try to answer.
