A MESSAGE TO CHANGE HEARTS OF STONE INTO FLESH THROUGH THE IMPORTUNITY OF PRAYER UPON JESUS CHRIST

January 15, 2023 - Pastor Alan Ross, New Covenant Church Redlands, using the illustration of the “importunate friend” from Luke 11:5-8, it is clear that the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, that penetrates the depraved heart of a sinner through the power of the Holy Spirit, and not by the worldly schooled intellect of the natural mind, is the utility of communion with YAHWEH HIMSELF through prayer. Inspiration of the Holy Spirit is a mark upon those that are truly branded as Christians, “Be ready in season and out of season.” (2 Timothy 4:2) If Jesus being all powerful prayed to the FATHER, how much more should we who are frail, weak, and needy sinners? “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.” (Matthew 7:7)
