Charlotte Haug, MD, PhD, MScH

Senior researcher at SINTEF, Technology and Society Department of Health and Adjunct Affiliate at the Center for Health Policy, University of Stanford.

Charlotte Haug is a medical doctor with postgraduate training as an infectious disease and immunology specialist with a PhD from the University of Oslo and a Master's degree in health services research from Stanford University.

From 2002 to 2015 she was the Chief Editor of the Norwegian Medical Association's Publication – Tidsskriftet, and is currently the international correspondent for the New England Journal of Medicine.

She has been contributing actively in the Norwegian national debate as a critical voice of the Covid-19 government policies and more recently the vaccination campaign.

We have entered in a new age of government led authoritarianism under the guise of biosecurity and with an unprecedented censorship of scientific debate threatening the very premise for public health and the sanctity of healthcare practice.

This international conference will address, not only the challenges, but also new opportunities arising out of the "Covid Crisis".
