1. Face your audience, not your slides. This makes it look like you haven’t seen your slides before losing your authority. It’s also neglectful to those in the audience relying on lip reading.

2. Fidgeting. It’s annoying and showcases nervousness which will break trust with the audience. Keep still or be controlled with your actions.

3. Don’t forget pen clicking. Do not take a pen on stage with you. The temptation is there and it’ll break the concentration of audience members so easily. It’s incredibly distracting.
