This Cream Soup Substitute is Amazing!

This Cream of Chicken Soup recipe is great to have on hand. It is easy to make a batch and you get to control the ingredients that go in to it.

The Corn Chowder recipe that I used in the video is below. It is a great soup that your whole family will love.

Cream of Chicken Soup Substitute
Equivalent to 10 3/4 oz can of Cream of Chicken Soup

2 cups instant dry milk powder
3/4 cup corn starch
1/4 cup low sodium chicken bouillon granolas
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp thyme
1/2 tsp basil
1/4 tsp pepper
1 tsp tumeric

To prepare:
Blend 1/3 cup mix
With 1 1/2 cup water
Cook until thick

If you add cheese, it will make a thicker soup.

Corn Chowder

3/4 cup diced celery
3/4 cup diced onion
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1 3/4 cup milk
2 cans cream of chicken soup
1 can corn
1/2 tsp thyme
1/2 tsp salt
Dash of pepper

Sauté celery and onions in butter until crisp tender. Add other ingredients and seasonings. Heat until hot - but do not boil.

May add about 4 slices of cheddar cheese on top, stir in when melted.
