Make Dinner for Under $4.00 - Bean, Bacon, & Burger

The recipe for Bean, Bacon, & Burger:
Serves 4-6
Ready in 20 minutes

1/4 cup chopped onion
2 tablespoon chopped green pepper
1tablespoon butter
1 pound ground beef
1 can bean with bacon condensed soup
1/2 cup water
1/3 cup ketchup
6 hamburger buns, or sandwhich bread

1. Cook onion and green pepper in butter until tender.
2. Add crumbled ground beef, brown.
3. Add soup, water, and ketchup.
4. Heat to simmer, stir often for five minutes.
5. Spoon on buns, serve.

**Using the oven: I have a vintage oven which uses a standing pilot light. This means the pilot light is always on, there is no igniter. My oven, therefore, stays warm enough to incubate ferments.
