Minute PRAYER. FORGIVE ME I HAVE SINNED 2023

"Heavenly Father, I come before you today with a humble and contrite heart. I acknowledge that I am a sinner and that I have fallen short of your glory. I have failed to love and serve you as I ought, and I have disobeyed your commands. I have hurt others and I have hurt myself. I am deeply sorry for all that I have done and for all that I have left undone.

I ask for your forgiveness, not because I deserve it, but because of your great love and mercy. I believe that Jesus Christ, your Son, died for my sins and rose again, so that I might have eternal life. I trust in his sacrifice and in his righteousness, and I accept his gift of salvation. I confess my sins to you, and I renounce them all. I turn away from my old life and I receive your forgiveness and your new life.

I also ask for your help, O Lord, to overcome my sinful habits and tendencies. I know that I cannot do this on my own, but I believe that your Spirit dwells in me and that he empowers me to live a new life in Christ. I submit myself to your will and to your word, and I ask that you lead me in the path of righteousness. I desire to please you in all that I do and to bring glory to your name.

I also ask for your grace to forgive others, as you have forgiven me. I know that I have been offended by many, and that I have offended many as well. I ask that you help me to put away all bitterness, anger, and resentment, and to love my enemies and to pray for those who persecute me. I ask that you help me to be a peacemaker and to be a channel of your love and your grace to others.

Lastly, I thank you, O Lord, for all that you have done for me and for all that you are doing in my life. I thank you for your love, your grace, your mercy, and your faithfulness. I thank you for your presence, your guidance, your protection, and your provision. I thank you for your promises, your word, your Son, and your Spirit. I praise you, O God, and I glorify your holy name. Amen."
