BIG EGO COP GOES HANDS ON | REFUSES TO ID | WE GET HIM ID'd

This was on Sunday January 15th 2023 at approximately 1333, on 114 in Peabody, Mass. We noticed a cop not doing his job at a detail, as me and my friend were driving by some roadwork being done. I didn't start recording as we were in the vehicle because I didn't think we were going to stop so I could confront him. So I started rolling as I was walking up to the roadwork. Sergeant Saia got out of his vehicle before I got to him and he started trying to avoid me by walking back and forth with the vehicle in between us.

I then walked to the back of his vehicle behind the cones and asked him for his name and batch number. He then proceeded to approach me telling me I was in the street and that I had to go on the sidewalk. He then pushed me 3 different times and committed assault and battery on a lawful citizen. Police officers have no right to touch you unless you are under arrest or legally detained. Since you were not identified I then called the Peabody police department to try to get him identified that gave me the same problems that he did and they eventually hung up on me. I decided to go live and the power of the people worked really quickly.
