Jason Whitlock defends Ivan Provorov decision not to wear Flyers’ Pride Night jersey.

Flyers defenseman Ivan Provorov skipped warmups before Tuesday's game against the Ducks because he refused to wear the team's Pride Night-themed jersey.

“Hockey Is For Everyone." That’s the marketing slogan the NHL has been using to justify “Pride Night” events at arenas all across North America.

Provorov is a man of his religion and stood tall for it, even when it meant going against the spirit of the age.

He was immediately attacked by the alphabet mafia and others sportscasters. One sports journalist has come to the defense of Ivan Provorov and that's Jason Whitlock.
