Fallout 4 (mods) - Our Current Load Order - January 2023

General Load Order Guide
In general, I group my mods logically like this:
1. Master files (Any files that force themselves to the top.)
2. Anything the modder says needs to be high or at the top of the Load Order.
3. Any quest mods.
4. Voice/Audio files
5. Weather/Sky mods (True Storms, NAC X, moon, galaxy sky mods)
6. Tree, grass, texture and landscape mods (Vivd AIO, Green mods)
7. Water mods (Clean water)
8. Any game play changes (Rich Merchants, Armorsmith)
9. World Items edited/changed (Town or settlement overhauls)
10. World additions (Player homes, dungeons, etc.)
11. Armor/weapon replacers
12. Additonal Weapons/Armors
13. NPC Replacers
14. Added NPCs
15. Followers
16. Player Character mods (Usually Hair, presets, body, teeth, eyes, colors of skin and hair)
17. Animations
21. Patches/things the modder says should be low or at the bottom/things I found only worked at the bottom. (Alternate Start, AFT)

Always try to use the modders' suggestion/recommendation as they should know the most about their mod.

I hope this general guideline will be useful. Please be aware that you can see a few exceptions in my own load order. Either dictated by the modder or figured out by myself.
