The #gameplay Where Winds Meet is set during the early part of the Northern Song Dynasty, during an era of war and conflict. The player takes on the role of a wandering swordsman, who grew up during this brutal era and used his martial arts and sword fighting skills to survive against countless enemies. The player must choose between upholding their moral code in order to protect the innocent and fight for justice or live only for themselves and risk the land slipping further into chaos and despair.
The open-world RPG is set in the beautiful Ten Kingdoms period of medieval China. For now, the only platform confirmed for its release, without a scheduled date, is the PC.
From the trailer, we observe several elements of the gameplay. Players will be able to ride horses, hone combat skills, explore, hunt, and much more. According to Everstone Games, the huge open world will be designed to span multiple locations, including windy steppes, bamboo forests and bustling cities typical of the best movies in the fantasy and martial arts genre.
