We are told by God that He has positions of full-time ministry in His church, as well as positions or jobs for each of us to do. "And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for equipping of the saints for the work of ministry" Ephesians 4:11-12.
