When a person decides to suppress God form their intelligence they lose the ability to acquire and apply knowledge.

At that point their heart becomes dark and their mind becomes void and then something horrible happens, confusion?

The lines between good and evil are blurred, Good becomes evil, light becomes dark, up becomes down?

They begin to love the darkness and hate the light, they chose to remain in the darkness, they want no part of the light.
