Why Stockholms Kommun is petitioned about this event

Many people signed petitions requesting the authority that runs the Stockholm stad to host the pre event Festival every year. During summer, the kommun funds a lot of activities throughout the city. Dromstort, the organisers of the pre event Festival expressed the need a winter mega event.

Winter has an effect on many people in the Nordics mostly because of the darkness that closes up on them early. Many are always depressed and most of the suicides are contemplated during this season.
