Brandon Moreno is a professional mixed martial artist from Tijuana, Mexico. He was born on December 7, 1993 and began training in MMA at a young age. Moreno made his professional debut in 2011 and quickly made a name for himself in the regional scene, amassing a record of 12-2 before signing with the UFC in 2016.

In his UFC debut, Moreno faced Louis Smolka at UFC Fight Night 96 and won the fight via a rear-naked choke submission in the first round. He then went on to face Ryan Benoit at UFC 207 and earned a split decision victory. Moreno then fought Sergio Pettis in a highly-anticipated matchup and lost via unanimous decision, but he then went on a 5 fight win streak before losing to Deiveson Figueiredo in a title fight. Moreno is known for his striking and grappling skills, and is considered one of the top prospects in the Flyweight division.

Moreno is a well-rounded fighter with a good striking skills, solid grappling and a good submissions game. He is known for his relentless pace and cardio, and his ability to pressure opponents with his striking and grappling. He is one of the top ranked flyweight fighter in the UFC. Moreno is also known for his humble and respectful attitude outside of the octagon.
