Max Keiser once gave Alex Jones a Laptop with 10,000 ₿itcoins on it & Alex lost it! 😲😱🤦‍♂️

Alex Jones, the founder of the media group InfoWars, has revealed that he has lost the laptop containing 10,000 ₿itcoins given to him by television personality and ₿itcoin proponent Max Keiser. During a show with Andrew Schulz and Akaash Singh, Alex said that Keiser gave him 10k BTC on a laptop in 2011 when ₿itcoin was worth approx. $5 each.

A long-time ₿itcoin critic, Jones refused to warm up to cryptocurrencies until mid-February last year, when he admitted to Keiser on-air: “You’re right, I should have gotten involved in ₿itcoin a long time ago.” At that time, Keiser predicted that the price of ₿itcoin would reach $400K.

During Tuesday’s show, Jones shared: “Ten years ago … Max Keiser comes to me and he says I have 10,000 ₿itcoins for you. This is the future. It will be the new global currency. He is on record.”

However, Jones claimed: "I lost the laptop he put the 10,000 ₿itcoins on. Today, what’s 10,000 ₿itcoins worth? A lot."

Rounding up the price of 10,000 BTC, at today's price of $23k, would be worth approx. $230 Million.

“You fucking idiot. Find that laptop,” Schulz said laughingly. At the request of Jones, Schulz got up and lightly slapped him twice. “I deserve it,” Jones exclaimed.

It is estimated that over 10% of the entire supply of ₿itcoin's 21 Million Coins have been lost in some manner or another. Either owners doing it by accident, breaking the device holding their private keys and not having a backup, throwing out a device containing their private keys when ₿itcoin was worth very little (thinking it was a dumb fad that was going nowhere), or other folly.

Once ₿itcoin is lost, it's gone forever.
There is no way to retrieve them unless they have the private key or seed phrase.

You also have to wonder if Alex really lost it, or if he knew there was legal trouble coming down the pipe, and decided to claim on air it was "lost" to divert attention away from the story that he owned 10,000 ₿itcoin.
Having a secret stash of ₿itcoin is really wise, especially after being hit with unfair verdicts by a Woke judge who used her place on the bench to be an activist and retaliate against him for the crime of saying things on air 'some people' thought was reprehensible regarding the Sandy Hook school shooting.
