01/22/2023: Let's Play Some $#!7 - Othercide!

There were stream issues.

I was doing an experiment that failed but was saved by the CC. I didn't want to have to use my headset during the stream, since I use a headset all day for work. The monitor picked up on my talking for the closed captioning, so I thought it would be an excellent alternative!

Nope.

I kept asking if people could hear me and it wasn't until after stream that I found out why I didn't get an answer; I didn't notice emote only was on.

I have sery_bot and it turns on Emote Only chat when I'm off stream, and it's supposed to shut it off when I start streaming. It didn't this time. I'll have to look into why.

And I didn't find out until after stream someone was trying to tell me through Discord because I don't get alerts from Discord while I'm streaming.

So, the experiment failed, and I will have to go back to the headset. Sad face. Yay for the CC and the subtitles!
