Some techniques and shooting positions that we work on at the range, are nebulous.  There can be a disconnect on where they potentially come into play.  Through the use of scenarios in our firearms training, we are forced into situations (in our make believe world) where we actually need to put a technique to use, rather than just pontificate about it.  This little drill is about just that...

While I used my rifle, you can just as easily use a pistol or shotgun.   And, you may find that different takeaways may become apparent.
