The people of Israel were thirsty after traveling in the Desert for three days with no water on their way to the Promised Land. They finally found water, but couldn’t drink it because it was bitter. It was there where God made Himself known as their Healer (Jehovah Rapha) and turned the bitter water into something sweet. God is still in the business of healing today; especially when it comes to bitterness in our own lives.
