Narrated by Ian Holm (Bilbo from Peter Jackson's film adaptations of The Lord of the Rings Trilogy), this 2004 docufiction is an imagining of the mythical European dragon as a winged fire-breathing reptile discovered in an ice cave in modern day Romania. Largely accurate to the dragon depicted in folklore, there are plenty of creative liberties taken in this television presentation.
