Why Pfizer Never Came To India? Two reasons...

Anu Lall explains why Pfizer never went to India.

1) The Indian Government wanted to do local trials but Pfizer refused.
2) Pfizer wanted legal immunity and the government refused.

On the first point, why wouldn't Pfizer want to do local trials? Surely, that would be a great way to demonstrate how good their product is? Wouldn't it be an easy sell?

On the second point, why would they need legal immunity? As we are told by politicians and the media, there aren't any problems with their products are there so that shouldn't make any difference.
