We have two sets of senses; PHYSICAL eyes, ears, taste, touch and smell, and SPIRITUAL eyes, ears, taste, touch and smell. Our spiritual senses have become desensitized and unused from when we were children because we were not taught to use them. Elisha's servant could only see the enemy army that surrounded them, until he opened his spiritual eyes and saw the even bigger angel army that surrounded the human army. In order to live FROM Heaven, we must activate our spiritual senses.
