He notes that China has a history of controlling information and not always reporting accurate data, and that the current situation with Covid is no different. He mentions that official reports say that only a few dozen people have died in China from Covid, but independent estimates suggest the number is much higher. He also mentions that the Chinese vaccines have been proven to be ineffective and that most countries have switched to other vaccines. He notes that it is difficult to predict what is happening in China with the virus because of the lack of accurate data, and the fact that the virus is constantly mutating. He also points out that it typically takes six months to gain a good understanding of how communicable and lethal a new variant of the virus is, and that this has led to inconsistent policy decisions around the world.
