Conception explained
Conception refers to the process of fertilization, when a sperm cell combines with an egg cell to form a single cell called a zygote. This zygote then divides and grows into an embryo and eventually a fetus, leading to the development of a new organism. Conception typically occurs when sperm is ejaculated from a man's penis into a woman's reproductive tract, and fertilizes an egg that has been released from the woman's ovary during ovulation. This process can also happen through assisted reproductive technologies such as in vitro fertilization (IVF).
