IMHO, DEWALT just built the best 12-Volt circular saw on the market. This sub-compact circular saw has all the features you would find on the top-tier DEWALT circular saws without a reduction in quality. I never thought I would be pointing out that a tool was made in Mexico and jumping up and down about it, but I am. The new 5Ah battery is still made in china.

This 5-3/8" circular saw is not going to win competitions against larger saws for cutting speed, but it does have all the torque you could want. The 3,600 RPM holds quite well even when pushed hard. We were unable to find other 5-3/8" blades in stock at our local store so we were stuck testing the stock blade. Let's keep it real, our local store has very little stock of anything these days.

This small package includes a rafter hook, blade brake, led light, amazing bevel adjustment, cast shoe, dust collection port, and runtime that will top many low-end 18-volt saws. Impressive is an understatement.
