Milwaukee M18 Brushless 1/2" Hammer Drill Driver 2902-20 & 1/4" Hex 3 Speed Impact Driver 2851-20
Home Depot Reviews Accurate? - This is not our normal tool review, mostly because these are not normal tools that we see from Milwaukee. The Milwaukee M18 Brushless 1/2" Hammer Drill Driver 2902-20 & Brushless 1/4" Hex 3 Speed Impact Driver 2851-20 are not labeled as FUEL models and thus are not top in their class. We push drills and impact to compare power and speed and to look at a tool that is built to be middle of the pack is difficult. While looking at how much these tools cost compared to their class leading FUEL companions, we found some interesting reviews on the Home Depot website under both of these tools. Have you ever wondered where some of the reviews on these websites come from when the tool is not fully available to the public? Why are they all positive? Why are they worded so oddly?
Well, we read a few to you and have fun with it.
But Wait, Surprise
Jeff and I both assumed that these tools would perform fair and not be impressive so we set our sights low and went at the review after bashing some Home Depot reviews. Not to give away what happens in the video, but we were surprised as to the performance and we show you in the video exactly how they stack up with the different bits and screws. It is amazing to see what Milwaukee is willing to put out as an affordable version. You know Milwaukee is proud of the tools they make and they are not going to settle for middle of the pack, even with more affordable tools.
We are not going to spoil it all as you need to watch the video to see these tools in action. Specifications on both tools are below.
