The sending of Leopard tanks to Ukraine has been confirmed by Germany.

Germany has agreed to deliver Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine, which Kiev hopes will be a tactical game-changer.

At a cabinet meeting on Wednesday, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz announced the decision to send 14 tanks and to invite other nations to send their own as well.
