A Turkish subscriber invited us for dinner 🇹🇷

Oguz is a Turkish subscriber and a local to Istanbul, well a new local, he's originally from Ankara, the capital city of Turkey.

Istanbul is absolutely massive. You won't understand just how big it is until you get on public transport to get to the outside of the city. We spent nearly 2 hours getting from the centre, to the west side of the city. I can't imagine how long it takes to get from the east to the west. The public transport in Istanbul is excellent. I'd never heard of a metro bus, but it's basically a bus that has it's own track, right down the middle of the expressway/motorway/highway, and you need to pass through gates to get to the station like on the metro. No traffic, one lane, literally like a metro, but it's a bus.

We had a great time at Oguz's apartment, eating Turkish food and enjoying the view from his 32nd floor apartment.
